Let's talk
Site licences, invoicing, procurement paperwork
Get in touchPersonal is a single payment. The licence is yours permanently and there is nothing to cancel.
Business and Organisation are annual subscriptions. They renew automatically each year at the same price until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt — access then continues to the end of the year you have paid for. If a payment fails, the application keeps working while the card is sorted out.
Your licence key stays the same for the life of the subscription. Renewals are applied automatically and you are never sent a new key to paste in.
Checkout is handled by Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Your licence key arrives by email immediately after payment. Prices are in US dollars; any applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated and shown by Paddle at checkout. Have a discount code? Enter it at checkout.
Each licence covers a set number of computers. The first time the application runs on a machine it claims one place and stores a confirmation locally, which is then checked without the internet.
On Personal, that is the end of it — the application never contacts us again. On the two annual tiers the confirmation lasts as long as the year you have paid for, and the application quietly renews it in the background a few weeks before it runs out. In both cases the application keeps working offline, and keeps working if our servers do not.
Changing computers is expected. Replacing a laptop does not cost you a place permanently. Release the old machine from within the application, or, if you no longer have it, release it from the new one — you will be shown the list and asked which to free. A computer we have not heard from in six months releases its place on its own.
What is sent. Claiming a place sends a one-way fingerprint of the computer, a name you can recognise it by, and the date. Not the computer's identity, not your address book, not anything you ship. The privacy policy spells this out.
Postage. Easy-Post Desktop does not sell postage and takes no cut of it. Labels are bought through your own EasyPost account at whatever rates that account is entitled to, and EasyPost bills you directly. You will need an EasyPost account before the application is of any use.
Carrier accounts. Any carrier accounts, negotiated rates or contracts remain between you, EasyPost and the carrier.
Every purchase is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, no reason required. Full details are on the refund policy page.
